Rwanda records 93 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Rwanda recorded 93 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, out of 4 189 samples tested.

This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the country to 9461. To date 6 956 patients have recovered, including 16 in the last report.

The number of active cases stands at 2 387. One hundred and eighteen COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded in the country.

The three new reported deaths are of males in Kigali aged 74, 65 and 50 years-old.

The new cases are in Kigali (43), Huye (13), Musanze (12), Rulindo (5), Rubavu (4), Rwamagana (4), Karongi (4), Muhanga (1), Nyaruguru (1), Ruhango (1), and Nyamasheke (1). – WHO Africa
