There are reports of protest action at the Mooi River Toll Plaza on the N3 in the KwaZulu-Natal midlands.
It has also been reported that trucks are on fire causing heavy traffic congestion.
Earlier, this month, protest action caused the highway to be closed during the Easter long weekend.

It is alleged that the trucks are being set on fire by criminals attacking truck drivers.
