The South African Estate Agency Affairs Board says the passing of South African property mogul and leading businesswoman, Pam Golding has left a void in the property market.
She was the founder and life president of the Pam Golding Property group. According to a statement from the property group she passed away peacefully at her Wittebomen home in Constantia on Tuesday at the age of 90.
Golding launched The Pam Golding Property Group in 1976 when the industry was still regarded as male-dominated.
She soon became an international player opening offices internationally and around the continent with more than 300 offices across southern Africa, Europe and on the Indian Ocean Islands.
The board’s spokesperson, Bongeni Mlangeni says the history of the property indusustry will never be complete without mentionin the role she played in ensuring that estate agents provide nothing but quality services through the highest standards he set not only for herself but also the entire Pam Golding properties proterties.”
Her passing away is at a time where South Africa annd the world at large is mourning the departure of our struggle heroine Ms Winnie Madikizela- Mandela whom together with Ms Golding in their own right fought for women emancipation and the upliftment of women in our society,” says Mlangeni.
