Award winning composer and pianist Nduduzo Makhathini is currently featuring in the last installment of the Jazzy July series at the Market Theatre.
His music is heavily influenced by African traditions but also has overtones of jazz music.
He released his 8th album titled Ikhambi, which was named best jazz album at the South African Music Awards.
Speaking on Morning Live, Makhathini says his performance at the concert will be in remembrance of Bheki Mseleku.
