Gauteng Traffic police say the carnival procession has left the Alexandra Stadium and will arrive at the Mushroom Park in Sandton, where the celebrations will take place.
The carnival is part of several activities in the build up to party’s tenth anniversary rally to be held at the FNB Stadium next Saturday.
Gauteng Traffic Police Spokesperson, Obed Sibasa says: “Officers are deployed to monitor the march and affected routes. Motorists are urged to be patient…use alternative routes.”
