Busisiwe Mkwebane says the setting aside of some of her remedial actions is part of a process of the development of law

Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane says her office is being discredited because it’s investigating certain individuals. She says some people are deliberately tarnishing her name.

Mkhwebane says this will not deter her.

Mkwebane says the setting aside of some of her remedial actions is part of a process of the development of law.

Some governance experts say the political nature of her investigations could be the reason there’s a highly-charged environment around her findings. Despite these storms, Mkhwebane remains resolute.
