Makhosi Khoza joins OUTA

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Former ANC MP Makhosi Khoza has joined the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) as Executive Director for its Local Government programme.

This has been announced by OUTA CEO Wayne Duvvenage. Khoza recently announced that she was retiring from politics.

After resigning from the ANC last year Khoza went on to form her own political party the African Democratic Change (ADEC).

Duvenage says they are excited to have the person of Khoza’s calibre in their midst.

“Most local municipalities across the country are on a dire situation.   They are suffering financial crisis as a result of maladministration and corruption that is taking place.  Our role as a civil action movement is to go and hold them to account for the transgressions through investigations engaging with authorises and expose the problem and litigate if need be.  So interesting times to have Dr Khoza on our board and somebody who rolls up her sleeves and get into issues we’ll be tackling.”
