The president of the newly formed civil society movement, African Democratic Change (ADeC) Dr Makhosi Khoza has denied newspaper reports that her party is falling apart.

According to newspaper reports, some members of ADeC are demanding Khoza’s resignation, if she doesn’t recognise the newly elected self-proclaimed interim top structure and reverse the expulsion of its leaders, Lufuno Gogoro and Mpho Ramakatsa.

In her response, Dr Khoza says these people are just looking for political positions.

“They came to ADeC because they wanted positions. We have a board and they decided to call themselves into Adec and they’re not even members of ADeC . They want to be the ones who are going to parliament and fighting for elections and ADeC is not about positions. They are political-preneurs. Lufuno how many parties has he become part of.  He was a member of BLF, EFF, Cope, Agang he was a member of every other political party that was started.”

The former ANC MP launched ADeC last year.
