Party abbreviation: Agang
In the 2019 elections, Agang will be contesting for seats in the National Assembly and provincially in the Free State, Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and the North West.
The party was formed on 22 June 2013 by anti-apartheid activist and world renowned academic, Dr Mamphela Ramphele in Pretoria.
It participated in the general elections for the first time in 2014 and won enough votes to secure two seats in the National Assembly.
It’s led by Andries Tlouamma.
