The inquest into the deaths of over 140 Life Esidimeni patients continues at the High Court in Pretoria.
Yesterday, a former managing director at Life Esidimeni, Dr Morgan Mkhatshwa, told the inquest that there was no way the patients could have been discharged from the facility without the necessary documentation.
