The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) has called all workers to join the national shutdown protest. The protest is aimed at addressing the country’s socio-economic challenges and government shortcomings. The protest will be taking place at the major urban centers in all 9 provinces.
Cosatu Parliamentary Convenor, Matthew Parks says the protest is also to allow workers to demonstrate their frustration.
