Let all football playing elderly affiliate with SAEFA – Ntsanwisi

Elderly headed to 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France

The South African Elderly Football Association (SAEFA) President Khensani Ntsanwisi has encouraged more grannies across the country to affiliate with the body so it is easier to access all of them.

Ntsanwisi was speaking on the back of Limpopo elderly women’s football team Vakhegula Vakhegula’s send off to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

Vakhegula have a friendly with France on 18 June in St Etienne as part of the world cup activities.

Ntsanwisi reveals that the travelling team is not only made up of the elderly from Limpopo but also includes others from different provinces.

Meanwhile Limpopo MEC for Sport Arts and Culture Thandi Moraka committed to paying travelling expenses and accommodation in France for two Vakhegula fans from her province at the send off. – Report by Lethabo Kganyago
