On Thursday the Department Health announced 30 more deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total death toll to 369 with just over 19 000 confirmed cases in the country.

A total of 1 134 people have been tested in the last 24 hours. Health Minister Zweli Mkhize says over half a million people in South Africa have been tested and 11 million others screened.
