Reading Time: < 1 minute

Two Golden Arrow buses have been set alight at the Nyanga bus terminus on the Cape Flats.

Golden Arrow spokesperson, Bronwen Dyke-Byer, says they have moved operations on Thursday afternoon to the nearby police station for security reasons.

The South African National Taxi Council earlier announced a stayaway in the Western Cape until the ninth of this month to protest against the impounding of their vehicles by the City of Cape Town authorities.

Security has been beefed up at the Nyanga terminus.
