The family of the deceased South African actress, Candy Moloi, has expressed sadness over her death.
Moloi, popularly known for her role as Vho Makhadzi in the SABC2 soapie, Muvhango, passed away yesterday after a long battle with cancer.
Family Spokesperson Berry Ramunenyiwa, says “Vho-Makhadzi” will be laid to rest in Thohoyandou in Limpopo.
“I’d like to sadly confirm the passing of Mukondeleli Cecilia affectionately known as Vho Makhadzi because of the role that she played in the soapie, Muvhango. She passed on after a long battle with cancer at a hospital in Pretoria. She will be laid to rest in Thohoyandou and details of the funeral will be announced soon.”
Fans and colleagues have taken to social media to pay their respects.
