Power utility Eskom says it will be implementing stage 3 load shedding from 4pm this afternoon.
In a statement, Eskom says this is as a result of the shutdown of six generating units and the delay in returning three generating units to service.
“This will be followed by stage 3 load shedding from 5am on Saturday until 4pm when stage 4 will be implemented. This pattern of stage 3 load shedding from 5am to 4pm and stage 4 load shedding from 4pm to 5am will continue until Sunday,” says the power utility in a statement.
