Organisers of the Crown Gospel awards say the awards are expected to continue later on in 2020 in Durban. The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has led to the cancellation of events across the world.
Awards founder, Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule says music lovers can still vote for their favourite artists.
“After long deliberations, the Crown Gospel awards committee has decided the awards will be staged on the 29th of November this year. Obviously, because of COVID-19 restrictions, the awards will be hybrid event. In other words, some of the elements will be pre-recorded and some will be live on the evening. Nothing much has changed as the award will be on TV and also people who want to participate this year can now start applying accordingly.”
