South Africa has recorded 8 524 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of laboratory-confirmed infections to 3 835 902.

According to the NICD,” The National Department of Health reports 5 deaths in the past 24–48 hrs. Total fatalities are 100 516 to date.”
