Police Minister, Bheki Cele is attending the court appearance of five suspects, who have been arrested in connection with the murders of rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes and his friend, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane.
The suspects are appearing in the Durban Magistrate’s Court this morning.
Forbes and Motsoane were shot and killed outside a Durban restaurant in February last year.
The breakthrough of the arrest of six suspects in the high-profile case was announced by Cele at a media briefing in Durban on Tuesday night.
A seventh suspect was arrested on Wednesday.
Two of the suspects who were arrested in Eswatini at the weekend are yet to be extradited.
