Cape Town police search for a missing 15-year-old

Police in the City of Cape Town are requesting the assistance of the public to find a missing 15-year-old girl who was last seen in early February 2022.

The Kraaifontein Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit has opened a case following the disappearance of Motheo Botlhoko at about midnight on Saturday, February 15, 2022 from her parents’ home in Protea Heights, Brackenfell in Cape Town.

Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg said, “At the time of her disappearance she was wearing an orange colour hoodie jacket, camouflage shorts and pink sandals. Motheo is of medium weight and average height. She has black medium-length afro hair which is plaited. She wears glasses and has a glass eye. Her eyes are brown. She was reported missing by her parents.”
