Bafana Bafana defender Morgan Gould says they have not paid attention to the selection of the Senegalese team.

Bafana defender Morgan Gould who is a seasoned footballer has acknowledged that Bafana Bafana will also rely on the support of the 12th man who is the fans.

In the last game against Burkina Faso last month many fans were reluctant to attend the game at the FNB Stadium due to the team’s poor performance in its previous two matches against Cape Verde.

Gould says that the national team needs all the support that they can get from the fans in order to win the match against Senegal.

“It’s one of those games where we need all the support and we appreciate for the people showing us love. Unfortunately it was one of those games against Burkina Faso where we were not that sure about what we are capable of, now they are sure and they should just come out in their numbers and show love and we will give them something to go home with a smile,” Gould says.

Meanwhile, Senegal will be boosted by the return of Liverpool star Sadio Mane for the World Cup qualifier against Bafana Bafana on Friday.

The 25-year-old has been injured prompting his missing of four previous matches for the Reds.

Mane was in action at the weekend, with a great performance for his club.

Gould says they have not paid attention to the selection of the Senegalese team.

“We just focus on what we need to do whoever dons the jersey for their team is obviously going to give their best and the same with us so I would not really dig into who plays how and when but we just need to stick to what we want to do and expect of ourselves and as I always say expect nothing but give everything,” says Gould.
