Reading Time: < 1 minute

The small business trade institute, AHI Western Cape, has launched a 24-hour call centre to offer business advice for those wanting to be their own bosses.

The call centre assistants will equip them with training and even the finance to start their own businesses. Their target groups include informal traders.

AHI Managing Director, Dr. Willie Cilliers, says with the current unemployment rate, it’s important to start a business to earn an income.

“We need to support entrepreneurs by way of a call centre where you can hear the entrepreneur and simply to get that first hand advice. I’ve got a problem in my business and how can I solve my problem? Also through the call centre we going to drive some training initiatives, some mentorship programmes, and some services like accounting services, legal, all that stuff will be handled from the call centre. The call centre will be the entry point of the AHI Western Cape.”
