Legendary musician Ali Katt was laid to rest on Saturday in Tembisa. Friends and family paid their last respects to Albert Moroatshehla who died at age 60.
He has been described as a legend in the industry. Ali Katt is best remembered for his hit single “Let The Good Times Roll”.
Many came to mourn the loss of a musical giant, brother, a father and musical genius. Known for his kindness and loving heart, Ali Katt’s memory lives on.
“Ali’s death has left us heart broken when we received news of his passing, we were in a state of shock,” says family member, Johannes Legodi.
Fellow artists are still reeling over his death.

“As musicians we are so sad to hear of the death of such a legend, because he was one of our idols when we were younger,” says musician, Bheki Ngcobo.
Ali Katt leaves behind his two daughters and his sister.
