10-year-old boy stabbed by nine-year-old in the Eastern Cape

Eastern Cape Police say they are investigating a murder case, after a 10-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death – allegedly by a nine-year old-boy at Ntwashu village in Ngqamakhwe in the Eastern Cape.

It is alleged that the two boys were on grazing land and started fighting.

It’s reported that during the fight the nine-year-old boy allegedly reached for a sharp object and stabbed the 10-year-old who died later in hospital.

Police spokesperson Thembinkosi Kinana says, the boys were looking after livestock when a fight broke out.

“According to the report the two young boys were in a grazing land looking after the live stock when they had a fight which resulted to one of them stabbing the other who later died in the hospital. The circumstances surrounding the incident form part of the investigation. The police are investigating a murder case no arrest made at this stage.”
