A decision by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the African National Congress (ANC) to recall President Jacob Zuma has received mixed reaction from the international community.

The party’s special NEC meeting that ran through Monday night took a decision to remove him from his position.

The President is yet to respond to a letter sent to him by the party, informing him about the decision.

Ties between the United States, Britain, Germany and Russia have become somewhat strained under Jacob Zuma’s presidency, a situation these four powerhouses hope will improve under the new leadership.
