Rapper 21 Savage has been arrested by United States (US) immigration officials, who say he’s in the country illegally and is a convicted felon.
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement says the rapper went to the US from the United Kingdom (UK) as a teenager in 2005, overstaying his visa to settle in Atlanta.
He is in custody in Georgia and faces deportation proceedings in federal immigration courts.
He was convicted on felony drug charges in Georgia in 2014 and was arrested on Sunday as part of a targeted operation with the co-operation of local law enforcement.
