The bail application of rapper Thulani Ngcobo, also known as Pitch Black Afro is expected to conclude on Thursday morning in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.
Ngcobo faces charges of murder and defeating the ends of justice. He’s accused of the murder of his wife Catherine Modusane on New Year’s at a Bed and Breakfast in Yeoville, Johannesburg on New Year’s Eve.
After numerous delays in Pitch Black Afro’s bail application, it’s expected that the matter will be finalised on Thursday.
On Wednesday, his bail application was postponed to allow the prosecution time to study a supplementary affidavit, submitted by Ngcobo’s attorney.
The Soweto born rapper was arrested earlier this month. Police believed he may have beaten his wife to death. Catherine Modisane died on New Year’s Eve at a bed and breakfast in Joburg.
