The case against hip hop star Thulani Ngcobo, popularly known as Pitch Black Afro, has been postponed to next Wednesday to allow the defence time to submit further affidavits.

The 40 year-old Soweto-born rapper has been charged with murder and defeating the ends of justice for allegedly killing his wife Catherine Modisane at a BnB in Yeoville, Johannesburg, on the 30th of December.

On Thursday the court heard how he allegedly cleaned the deceased’s blood with a sanitary pad.

NPA Spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane says:”The NPA confirms that the matter against Thulani Ngcobo has been postponed to the 30th of January. This is to allow the defence an opportunity to file further affidavits in his bail application.”
