Lawyers representing the Commission on State Capture have described former President Jacob Zuma’s refusal to appear before the commission as belligerence and defiance.
They are arguing in the Constitutional Court in an application compelling Zuma to comply with the summons directing him to appear before the commission in January and February 2021.
In November, Zuma walked out of the commission without the Chairperson of the commission Justice Raymond Zondo’s permision.
Advocate Thembeka Ngcukaitobi says Zuma is simply playing delaying tactics.
