Former African National Congress (ANC) president Jacob Zuma has urged South Africans to turnout in their numbers and vote for the ANC.
He joined ANC members in Pietermaritzburg at the party’s Siyanqoba rally on Sunday.
Zuma says voters should not gamble with their votes by choosing parties that have no experience in running government.
“The ANC has led government for over 25 years. We have experience to govern. I urge all South African citizens not to make a mistake and gamble with their votes and elect someone you do not even know they have experience to govern your country.
“You cannot vote for someone who also is aware that they will not win these coming elections; they will only get few votes. If you truly want your votes to work and be part of decision making in the country vote the ANC,” says Zuma.
