President Jacob Zuma, accompanied by KwaZulu-Natal Premier Willies Mchunu and Economic Development MEC Sihle Zikalala, has launched the InvestSA One Stop Shop in Durban.
The centre will provide guidance and reduce regulatory red tape for all investors looking to invest in the province.
It is a joint project of the Departments of Trade and Industry and Economic Development.
It will also facilitate foreign direct investment.
Zuma formally announced the establishment of InvestSA last year.
The business sector had complained about difficulties and delays when having moving from one department or institution to another to obtain licences and other services to invest in the country.
