Reading Time: < 1 minute

Members of Zimbabwe’s ruling party ZANU PF are expected to march in the capital Harare on Wednesday, in solidarity with the President and Zimbabwe Electoral Commission.

This follows Tuesday’s march by opposition, the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) Alliance that was demanding an audit of the voters roll, removal of military officials from the Electoral Commission, and equal access to state media during campaigning.

ZANU PF Youth say they are supporting President Emerson Mnangwagwa’s call for free, fair and non-violent elections

Tuesday’s march was supported the National Patriotic Front, formed by loyalists of former President Robert Mugabe

Elections are scheduled for July, 30.
