Zille concerned about vote rigging

Reading Time: 2 minutes

DA leader, Hellen Zille says she is worried that the forthcoming general elections may be rigged.

She was speaking during an electioneering campaign in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape.

Zille has urged DA members to ensure that they monitor each and every voting station until the end of the counting process.

“In this election, I am now worried because the more frightened the ANC is the more they have to do to hide their failures and every single one of you must go out on election day. You must make sure that we are watching the polling booths and that we are standing there till the count and when the count is finished, we must make sure that there are no votes more than the number of people voted to make sure that where we are watching there is no cheating, there is no corruption…”

Zille has appealed to supporters of her party not to use any form of violence.

She made an appeal to voters to make the right choice and give the DA a chance to govern to ensure a better lifer of all South Africans.

Meanwhile, AbaTembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo has urged Zille to strengthen her fight against corruption.
