Zimbabwe's opposition MDC Nelson Chamisa is calling for the intervention of AU and Sadec on the issue of ballot papers.

Zimbabwe’s opposition MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa says the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) should withdraw all printed ballot papers until all parties agree, or the election is halted.

He told the media in Harare that the ballot paper had not been agreed on. This contradicted ZEC Commissioner Qhubani Moyo, who told the SABC on Tuesday that political parties were happy with the printing of the ballot.

Chamisa has called on Southern African Development Community and the African Union to intervene. He also wants an emergency meeting with President Emmerson Mnanagagwa.
