Zambia, SA commit to peace and economic integration

President Cyril Ramaphosa is continuing his engagements with South Africa’s international partners as he settles into his new position.

President Ramaphosa hosted Zambian President Edgar Lungu in Pretoria on Tuesday, for a meeting.

The Presidency says Ramaphosa and Lungu have committed to continuing to work together to promote peace, security and economic integration in the region.

Ramaphosa who is also SADC chair has recently visited Angola, Namibia and Botswana.

He is expected to visit Mozambique and Zimbabwe this weekend.

Later this month the President will visit Rwanda where the African Union will be holding an extraordinary summit on economic integration.
