Reading Time: < 1 minute

African National Congress (ANC) deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa has urged young people to be part of turning the country’s economy around.

In his address to the ANC cadres rally on Saturday in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape, he tackled topical issues ranging from the downgrade of South Africa to junk status, state capture and inequality.

Ramaphosa believes that fraud and corruption have a detrimental effect on the movement and the country.

“We want our economy to be transformed so that this economy can work for all of us,  so that this economy can benefit all of us we must put things right first. The first thing that we must put right is that we must work on the ANC, we must repair our movement,” says Ramaphosa.
