Ongeziwe Mali was identified at the 2015 St Mary's Hockey Festival.

The youngest professional player in the South Africa’s Women National hockey team, Ongeziwe Mali will again represent the country at the upcoming 2018 Women’s Hockey World Cup in July.

Mali has also represented the country at the Commonwealth Games.

This promising hockey player was identified at the 2015 St Mary’s Hockey Festival.

The 18 year old says being part of Women’s National hockey team has always been her dream. “I’m very honoured and grateful, I never thought at the age of 18 I would make it at the SA women’s team. It has always been my dream to be that of the team.”
