There are reports that the new Chiefs midfielder Kearyn Baccus is desperate to wear the famous jersey that was retired by Chiefs boss Kaizer Motaung.

Kaizer Chiefs legend Doctor Khumalo says only exceptional players are qualified to wear the famous jersey No. 15 at his former club.

Khumalo, who was affectionately knows as “16V”, was one of the best players at Chiefs and Bafana Bafana in recent times donning the famous number 15 jersey.

There are reports that the new Chiefs midfielder Kearyn Baccus is desperate to wear the famous jersey that was retired by Chiefs boss Kaizer Motaung.

Khumalo was part of Nedbank Ke Yona team search that ended a few weeks ago. He was the Technical Director at Baroka FC in the 2017/2018 season. He says he is looking to coach in the Glad African Championship or the PSL.

Khumalo used to be Chiefs coach alongside Donald “Ace” Khuse couple of years ago. He says former players should be given an opportunity to coach in the top leagues.

Khumalo has a book about his life that was written by Botswana lawyer Olebile Ntsodi Sikwane.

The book was written without Khumalo’s approval and his lawyers are dealing with the matter.
