Roads and bridges have been washed away.

Divers have discovered the body of a woman believed to be one of the three people who drowned on Saturday morning on the Glen Road Bridge in Olifantsfontein south of Pretoria.

The search for two other missing people, one of them an Uber driver continues.

Search continues for three flood victims in Gauteng:

It is alleged the Uber driver was attempting to drive through the flooded bridge when the vehicle was swept by raging water with two female passengers inside.

The women are believed to be tourists from Botswana.

Tshwane Emergency Services Spokesperson Charles Mabaso says, “We reported yesterday that search teams are searching around the borders of Tshwane for a reported missing Uber driver and two passengers. Just before 12h00 today, we discovered the body of a woman on the Olifantspruit, near Irene. The teams are continuing with the search towards the Centurion Lake.”
