The 2019/20 Premier Soccer League season kicks off on Saturday with Bidvest Wits away to AmaZulu at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
With the recent addition of highly-rated Zimbabwean defender, Farai Madhanhanga from FC Platinum, Wits hope to build on last season’s brilliant form and the head coach Gavin Hunt is confident in his new merged squad.
The Braamfontein-based side has signed a total of 11 new players to beef-up their squad for this season.
Assistant coach Paul Johnstone echoed Hunt’s words, adding the team is getting on well together after spending the pre-season together.
