Reading Time: 2 minutes

Bidvest Wits will be looking to collect another three points on Wednesday night when they host Highlands Park at Bidvest Stadium. Kick-off is at 19:30.

The Students are still on the catch-up race in terms of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) fixture list.

Having suffered a 1-0 defeat last Wednesday to Maritzburg United, the Braamfontein outfit bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Baroka United on Saturday. Wits head coach Gavin Hunt says preparations are going well.

Having experienced poor results at home, the 55-year-old mentor bemoaned the absence of injured Gift Motupa and Solly Khunyedi.

Khunyedi, who just made his second straight league appearance against Baroka was unfortunately removed on the half-hour mark due to an injury.

Hunt also indicated doubts on Cole Alexander’s availability. However, the Students will not just give in to that, as they are aware that they are facing on form opponents who are certainly looking to solidify their spot in the top 8.
