Western Cape welcomes Boks

Cape Town International Airport is a hive of activity and excitement as the of the World Champion Springboks  arrived for their trophy parade.

The Boks will embark on the final leg of the nationwide trophy parade in the Mother City on Monday. The Rugby World Cup champions will be parading the Web Ellis Trophy in and around the city.

At domestic arrivals some of Cheslyn Kolbe’s family can be seen dressed in his number 14 jersey eagerly awaiting his arrival.

Outside the airport in the square, members of the Kaapse Klopse are entertaining the public.

Earlier today the Streets of Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape were abuzz with Springboks fans cheering for the rugby heroes as the fourth leg of the victory tour made its way through the regions of Zwide, KwaZakhele and Uitenhage, where the champions displayed the Web Ellis Cup in all its glory.

Port Elizabeth is home to Captain Siya Kolisi, Coach Rassie Erasmus and back-line coach Mzwandile Stick.

It was a damp and rainy start to the Port Elizabeth leg of the trophy tour but that didn’t deter fans.
