The SABC News COVID-19 Global Wrap brings you highlights of news which dominated headlines with regards to the coronavirus pandemic.

In this week’s Global COVID-19 Wrap, SABC News captures highlights from all corners of the globe as the number of confirmed coronavirus infections continues to rise.

The world has currently recorded over 496 million cases, with over 432 million recoveries and over 6 million deaths.

South Africa has 3 728 689 confirmed cases, with 3 615 531 recoveries and 100 075 deaths and the African continent still sits at over 11.3 million confirmed cases, with over 10.7 million recoveries and more than 251 000 deaths.
