The SABC News COVID-19 Global Wrap brings you highlights of news which dominated headlines with regards to the coronavirus pandemic.

In this week’s Global COVID-19 Wrap, SABC News captures highlights from all corners of the globe as the number of confirmed coronavirus infections continues to rise.

The world has currently recorded over 515 million cases, with over 470 million recoveries and over 6.2 million deaths.

Meanwhile, South Africa to date has over 3 800 000 confirmed cases, with 3 668 982 recoveries and 100 471 deaths and Africa has so far recorded over 11.4 million cases of the coronavirus, with over 10.8 million recoveries and over 252 000 deaths.
