The SABC News COVID-19 Global Wrap brings you highlights of news which dominated headlines with regards to the coronavirus pandemic.

In this week’s Global COVID-19 Wrap, SABC News captures highlights from all corners of the globe as the number of confirmed coronavirus infections continues to rise.

The world has recorded over 488 million cases, with over 423 million recoveries and just under 6.2 million deaths.
South Africa has 3 718 953 confirmed cases, with 3 603 821 recoveries and 100 032 deaths and the rest of the continent sits at over 11.3 million confirmed cases, with over 10.68 million recoveries and over 251 000 deaths.
