The Brazilians have won the PSL title nine times, while Amakhosi have won it four times.

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says his team is superior to Kaizer Chiefs ahead of their crucial league clash at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Sunday.

Sundowns have won the PSL title in the past two seasons, while Amakhosi have not won silverware in more than four years.

The Brazilians have won the PSL title nine times, while Amakhosi have won it four times.

Chiefs striker Khama Billiat terrorised Sundowns defence in the Shell Helix Cup two weeks ago. He scored a goal and created three for Leonardo Castro.

Mosimane says he is the biggest threat.

Mosimane has alleged that Chiefs have benefited from referees’ mistakes against AmaZulu FC and Golden when they won both matches.

Even midfielder, Tiyani Mabunda has echoed his coach’s sentiments.

Mosimane has advised his players to focus on the game.

Sundowns were hammered 4-2 by Chiefs in the cup. The log leaders were leading 4-0 in the first half, but the Brazilians pulled two goals back.

Mosimane says they should not be emotional.

Sundowns will be without Goalkeeper Denis Onyango, who has gone to Uganda to bury his late father.

Kennedy Mweene is going to start and Mosimane says he is ready.

The last time Chiefs played was last Saturday when they beat Cape Town City on penalty shootout.

Sundowns have since played two games after that against AmaZulu FC on Sunday and Highlands Park on Wednesday. Mosimane says his charges are less prepared than Chiefs.

Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has been attending the past two Sundowns games against AmaZulu FC and Highlands Park. Mosimane says he will start attending Chiefs games as well.
