Health Minister Zweli Mkhize together with representatives of the World Health Organization and the National Institute for Communicable Diseases hold a media briefing in Johannesburg on Friday to update the public on the coronavirus outbreak.
Earlier this week, Mkhize assured South Africans that government is on high alert and fully prepared to contain any possible outbreak. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared the coronavirus outbreak a global health emergency.
