Former ANC MP Vytjie Mentor is now being cross examined a the State Capture Commission by the legal representative of former Chief Operations Officer in the Presidency, Lakela Kaunda.

Mentor implicated Kaunda in her testimony where she told the commission that Kaunda communicated with her in regards to a meeting with former President Jacob Zuma.

Mentor is being questioned by Kaunda’s lawyer Henry Cowley at the commission underway in Parktown in Johannesburg.

Earlier Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has disinclined an application by the Gupta family to include a video recording of their Saxonwold residence taken during an inspection by the commission and former ANC MP Vytjie Mentor to be admitted as part of evidence.

On Monday, legal representative of the Gupta family, Mike Hellens, brought the application in Parktown.
