Hundreds of South African Communist Party members and the community have filled the Wesselton Primary in Ermelo hall, Mpumalanga for the party’s 98th anniversary rally.
The members clad in red are chanting struggle songs waiting to be addressed by the Communist Party’s General Secretary, Blade Nzimande.
Nzimande is expected to reflect on the 98 years of the party’s existence and also map the way forward.
He is also expected to speak on current socio-economic and political challenges facing the country including state capture.
