The SABC is briefing the Parliament’s Communications Portfolio Committee on its Expenditure and Performance reports.
This as Parliament’s Communications Portfolio Committee Chairperson Humphrey Maxegwana says the committee does not want the public broadcaster to experience the same problems as it did in 2016.
This follows controversial media reports on the current state of affairs at the SABC.
The SABC is accused of restructuring some of its television and radio programming without consultation.
Maxegwana says these are some of the issues on which the committee wants answers from the SABC when it presents its second quarterly financial report on Tuesday.
